Why do people dress like that for coachella?
I've watched many reels today and I'm genuinely curious about that festival more
Is it just an annual festival or does it represent something?

Coachella is an annual event with lots of good music, but for many people it's also a way to be a social media star. Lot of people show up there just to say they were there, if that makes sense.

I’m going to be honest with you. I am an American and live on the other side of the country. I understand what Coachella is but other that, none of the culture around it makes a damn bit of sense.

It's a music festival. It doesn't have any deeper cultural meaning. I'm not completely sure why people dress that way, I guess it's sort of a social media trend.
