Hi there , im in search of some assistance with repairing my e bike, or finding a more reliable alternative, as its currently my only transportation to work.

The issue im having is the throttle is broken. Its the twist style like a motor bike, and while i was riding today i hit a bump and it turned further than the max speed. It then was only half working , i had to mess it about to get it to activate the motor until i got to my work, the throttle was then stuck at max and wouldn't stop spinning until i turned the power off. I know the motor is fine and its just the throttle, as it has pedal assist and the motor will still help me while pedaling. But i have no idea where to start with repairing this, or if its even worth it to repair, like if i need proprietary parts or if i can just grab some off the shelf stuff.
