UA1191 Denver circled on approach

I was on United 1191 today and we went around just before landing to try again. There was no announcement and we ended up landing fine. Can anyone check to see why?

Could be hundreds of things, but it looks like UA2285 didn't vacate the runway in time

Could be any number of things. A deer on the runaway, an unauthorized vehicle, plane was going too fast etc.
