This and Double Dribble were two of the best sports games for the NES,, but then Konami produced that Base Wars robot baseball game. They probably decided on something different since there was already a split between RBI Baseball and Bases Loaded. All I remember for football was the original 10 Yard Fight and then of course, Tecmo Bowl.

One of my favorite games. I'd always take the Canucks because Pavel Bure could beat just about anyone in the game (sadly, not in real NHL life). Russian Rocket!
