What’s your favorites (modern day) 45 and 9mm? I’ve been on a milsurp kick for years and want something new

CZ SP-01 for 9mm, or the Sig P365 AXG Leguon. Both shoot great. One for full size and 1 for carry.
For the .45ACP, HKUSP 45 is the best full size out there without going to the 2011 platform. For the compact, I'll let someone else chime in. I carry 9mm.

2nded for the USP. Especially the Expert version with the inoroved trigger.
Its also one of the only 45s you can safely run 45 Supers through with zero modification.

Smith 9mm performance center competitor is a fairly amazing firearm. Even more so when it's modded.

9mm, too many to mention
For 45 you'd probably like the Springfield TRP/Operator, but the USP or HK45 are hard to beat

CZ Shadow 2

I like my FN 509 midsize tactical. 🤷♀️

FNX-45 for me. I don't really own a modern 9mm, so can't say on that one.

I have a Smith and Wesson M&P m2.0 in .45. Really well-made and easy to shoot. The grip is big for my small hands, so a 1911 fits me better, but I have no complaints at all about the Smith.

My all time favorite 9mm is the Arex Delta gen 2. Weird oddball Slovenian pistol but shoots fantastic and has mounting plates for every major pistol red dot included in the box if you opt for an optic cut. My favorite 45 is the Stealth Arms 1911, you can customize the thing to your hearts content even down to the serial number if you ask nicely. Pricey but making it into your own personal pistol is very nice.
