Clothes shops: when does beach wear come in?
Posted by FuzzyJumper3@reddit | AskUK | View on Reddit | 15 comments
I'm going to a wedding in Greece in June and have no clothes suitable for the trip. I need to go shopping but the shops have mostly spring- suitable clothing. Understandable, but I need to know how much longer I can leave it, since I don't even anything to wear to the wedding!
Traditionally, Christmas promotions start up in shops after Halloween. Is there a similar agreed time with getting in summer stock?

Thank you for all the suggestions, and it's good to know stuff is already out there.

It's usually in/around the atart of spring that clothes shops start bring in their summer clothes, which does annoy me slightly because by the time summer comes around, a lot of the clothes you might want to buy have already been replaced by coats and jumpers.
I'm not digging all my summer claes oot when I've still got the heating on.

It's in everywhere I went in Manchester this weekend, picked up a few bits! Even the supermarkets with Asda having a surprisingly great womens selection.

Fat face, White Stuff, New Look and Peacocks all had summer stuff today. Failing that, Vinted.

Try Sea-Salt and FatFace. All of their designs are ‘Beach/Holiday’ appropriate.
