The C.O.P.S. cartoon aired from 1988 to 1993.
Depends on your country if you got to see DIC animation shows I think.

It was only two season and originally aired in syndication from 1988 to 1990. I don't remember hearing about it after that, but Wikipedia says the renamed version air on CBS for six months in 1993, and then again under its original name on USA in 1995.

C.O.P.S. came out in 1988. Cops came out in 1989.
