Did someone successfully export your ChatGPT conversations?

Howdy, I use ChatGPT since 2023 and I have accumulated tons of chats organized in a multitude of projects. Now I'd like to export these and utilize them for my local ai. However, when I use the official export functionality, I realize, that most of my chats are missing. I haven't checked in detail but it almost looks like all chat associated into projects are missing. Did someone succeed in exporting the chat content of entire projects? I'd be glad to learn how!

There are chrome extension to export to markdown

yeah i found these. those are good to use for few chats but not for bulk exports.

Minor update: due to my impatience I started to fiddle around with chromium and playwright, to scrape the contents of my projects. It kinda does the job, but is a slow, error-prone, semi-interactive process of scraping, not because playwright is a buggy technology but because the openai web interface is such a hack, and it punishes me repeatedly with rate limits. really makes me consider ditching my chatgpt plus for good.
