Found a pyrex dish full of taco shells while out walking my dog just sitting out by the street. No further info, just served dry to whoever and for whatever reason.

No clue. I left it alone, since the offering is clearly not for me. I don't want to offend whatever goblin god gets dry shells set out for it.
