Going through Nashville at 2100 wasn’t too terrible. Almost made it to Kentucky home free until some mouth breathing moron camping the left lane jumps in front of me then starts slowing down by like 15 mph. I try to pass and they speed up again to match my speed.
WHY the FUCK do people do that shit? They must only got a brainstem or something, for fuck sake

I was in Nashville yesterday. Got there around 1pm? I usually park at this little spot that is very close to downtown but they only have 5/6 spots so sure enough it was full. I ended up going to a loves nearby off Brikley parkway. Kind of a shitty one. I had to do a some bizzarre manouver and back out of the lot towards the pumps. Lots of junkies and stupid box trucks double parked. Bad vibes. When you are out of Nashville going north towards Kentucky it is usually smooth. Tend to agree that especially on two lanes highways in the south people tend to camp out the left lane and you have to zip zag around them. The weekend is the worst to drive on the roads, especially around bigger towns.

It was weird there. It’s a decent east Nashville area plenty of good restaurants etc just the truck stop is awful. I had to blind back into my spot and then essentially hang a right and reverse all the way. Other driver next to me thanked me for leaving so he could get out himself 😂

Frankly you can’t ever predict what the four wheelers will do. Don’t take it too seriously, we are professionals. When you get behind them, flash them if they don’t move (cuz they are playing with their phones) start some serious downshifting and hit your Jakes they will get outta the way quickly

Insurance scam. Wants you to go off and try to take them out. If that happens again pull over to the shoulder and throw your 4 ways on and take 5 minute break. Wait this shit out for a few minutes

Not this time, I don’t think, I think they’re just stupid. They didn’t touch their brakes but kept slowing down. Probably didn’t have their foot on the accelerator nor the cruise set.

It happens to me every single day. It’s one of the few things that makes me lose my shit. They could be going 55 mph for the last 100 miles. The very second you try to pass , they magically find an extra 10 more mph.
What really makes me go insane is when they slow back down again after you get behind them again. One time I had to pull over because my blood pressure was too high.
I’ve often said trucking would be a great career if you were the only person on the road.

No, you'll likely just take a pay cut and you can still travel as an electrician but see more of any given place. Honestly, If I wasn't so lazy I would have probably gone into a traveling trade. But swinging doors is plenty work out for me.

Yeah I had a dude in a pickup pull into the left lane in a 2 lane highway, pulled up next to the car he was "passing" and proceeded to do 55mph in a 70, then brake checked me when I flashed my lights at him and sped up to 70 once it opened to 3 lanes 15 min later

I had a guy do that yesterday and boy did it tick me off. Came flying around me only to cut back in front of me then proceed to mash the brakes and slow down by 10 mph well below the speed limit.
