So, I know nothing about this suppressor, but looking into it, it's very expensive, but it seems like it's... not great? Pretty heavy, doesn't seem to suppress all that well. I could easily be missing something as I don't really know much about it.

This deal isn’t as great as you’d think off the rip. MSRP on them is like 12-1400 but you can routinely find them for 50% off. There was one or more YouTubers that had a promo code for it as well. You’re maybe saving $100-200 with this deal which isn’t bad but not as awesome as the $1250 savings you think you’re getting.
Look at the suppressor from a $700 price point and it’s pretty decent. Look at it from a $1250 and it’s not a great value.

I did. I am enjoying it, but honestly I think I would have rather just gotten the 300blk instead of the 5.56. A 10in barrel isn’t great for 5.56 even with a suppressor. The 300BO with this suppressor is an amazing setup and you won’t be disappointed. I’m not upset I bought it, but I did jump the gun a little bit because I thought it was too good to be true and wanted to snag one quickly.

I gotcha. If it’s gonna make things tight just wait. You can get the DDM4V7p for around $1100 and the suppressor like I said you can get for half the MSRP. 5.56 on a 10in barrel is really just a range toy. You wouldn’t want that for home defense (300blackout shines here) and it’s not good for long range either (a 16+ barrel is your friend here). Also take into account your FFL fees for both suppressor and the gun. Mine was $150 on top for both. Happy to help though

You'll have to transfer through an FFL in your home state that can handle NFA items (not all can). That FFL info is the only thing the seller will need to complete the sale.
When your item arrives at your FFL, they will have you complete a "Form 4" which they'll submit to the ATF (which is pretty similar to a 4473 except it actually gets reviewed and approved by the ATF). The FFL will have to include your photo and fingerprints with the Form 4 submission. How they get them depends on the FFL so you'll need to talk to them for the specifics. Transfer fees on NFA items are often higher than regular firearms (often $100+) so make sure you know what your FFL charges.
The FFL will hold your item until the ATF approves the Form 4 (currently running 1 - 2 weeks turnaround). Then you'll go back in, complete any remaining 4473 forms, and take home your prize.
