Is Fiido worth buying? (if you have limited options)

I’m planning to buy a fat tire e-bike, specifically the Fiido Titan, but after coming across posts about Fiido and concerns about guerrilla marketing and fake customer reviews, I’m starting to have second thoughts.
I’m from the Philippines, where road conditions aren't exactly the best and the weather is either fucking hot or rainy. My options are pretty limited since many European and American e-bike brands aren’t available here, and Xiaomi’s Himo line also seems to be winding down operations locally. Fiido stands out to me because of its global presence and availability here, while a lot of the local options feel questionable in terms of quality and reliability.
With that in mind, is Fiido actually good enough to be worth buying?

Don’t fall for the "budget-friendly" trap with Fiido. It looks like a steal at first, but here is what the ownership experience actually looks like:
When you add up the purchase price plus the constant repairs and the headache of having no tech support, you realize it’s actually cheaper to just buy a decent, reliable e-bike from the start. Save yourself the frustration and get something that’s built to last.

oh damn... thank you for the insights
do you have any recos that's close to Fiido? (Praying that they'll also be available here)

Find ten similar products that you like and choose a price around the middle. That always works.

I was originally going to suggest trying other brands or a second-hand e-bike, but I know your options are limited. Some of the great bikes from Europe and the US are hard to get hold of there.
Fiido is probably your best bet for now, so you might as well give it a shot. Their after-sales service seems a bit weak, but everything else is decent.

Im also from the Philippines and I have 2 fiido ebikes, the M1and the q2. There are reliable local sellers here in manila so upgrading and maintaining will be easy.

They are alright. I recommend getting spare inner tubes from a different supplier. I have seen many customers complain that the inner tubes which come with the bike failed fairly quickly. Both my front and back failed within the first three months, but the replacements have been.

I’ve got a few fiido bikes and have bought a few for friends
I like them. Great value for money. No complaints

I picked up the Air at the beginning of the year. I commute roughly 50 miles per week on it. That translates to a solid 3 hours of riding. Aside from a flat tire, it’s been flawless. The flat would have happened on almost anything, so the bike is not at fault.
I was looking at Ride1Up, and really like their bikes, but the flat bars, belt drive, and extremely light weight of the Fiido were really important to me.
tldr; Worth it. I would happily buy another.
