Art Fair Dallas, for those that have been before

I'm thinking about going to the Dallas Art Fair, next weekend. I'm curious to hear reviews from past years as to what should I expect and is it worth it for the price.

I’ve seen photos posted from art fairs recently. If I’m spotting the trend correctly, expect to see a lot of surrealist floral portraitures.

What are you hoping to get out of it? I go regularly (work in the biz). DM for more info

There are a few reasons i want to check it out but the main reason would be to see the dallas art scene... im not in the market to buy so thats not a factor at all. Hopefully there would be an artist or two whose names i could write down and follow... the biggest reason im even questioning going is the price. Ive been to a few art fairs where most of the work are just derivatives if what was trendy last year. I would feel like another art fair like those would be a waste of time and money... i see theres also a free art fair in fort worth, the same weekend. If just looking is the reason for going would you recommend the dallas art fair or the fort worth main street art fair?
