I'd be really jealous if it had a turbo button and display. I picked up one of these Techmedia NOS AT cases a few years ago, and like this one, it also has no turbo display. Built really well though.

Weirdly it has a cable for a turbo light “but no turbo button spot”
generaldis@reddit
Some motherboards let you switch between turbo and normal with a key combination.

Needs a full height 5.25" hard drive in there..

anyone knows horizontal DT cases ?
like the ones used on old 486 586 IBMs ?
Portbragger2@reddit
imagine some of those weighed up to 40lbs and we carried them to lans every second weekend or so. including around the same weight for a crt.

I can taste the blood of the cuts that case will give you when you pop some metal protector, specially the lower 3.5" !
I just travelled 32 years in time ... thanks !
Albos_Mum@reddit
You use your hands for that? You're meant to ruthlessly stab at it with a screwdriver and then twist off the remaining connection.
..and then cut your finger on the remnant nub only when you put the drives into the bays.

a blood sacrifice to the computer gods

Oh that's marvelous. Loving that input/output power supply. That's a throwback.
Just_to_rebut@reddit
What would the output be used for?
MelinaSeeDee@reddit
It's an old way to control a peripheral, usually a monitor. That way you only have one thing to power on/off.

Nice five bay. I had a 7 bay piece of furniture. It was glorious. The bulk can deaden the fan (and disc) noise. Plenty of room for creative mods. Have fun.
