ULPT Weight loss meds for someone who isn’t obese
Posted by badger0762@reddit | UnethicalLifeProTips | View on Reddit | 18 comments
I was just looking into getting an online doctor prescription for weight loss medication as I’d like to lose a bit of weight. Does anyone have any experience with Mounjaro or Mysimba as a no—overweight person? I know people do it but it’s hard to find people discussing it online.

Why are people so afraid of their GP? Just make an appointment and tell him you are not happy with your weight, have tried diet and exercise but can't seem to lose what you want to lose and would like to try Mounjaro. They will write the prescription. And honestly, if they won't then go find another doctor.

I did a 4 month cycle of mounjaro, kept to the lowest doses always, didnt increase. went from 156 to 145, very happy.

Have you gained it back?
cudes_123@reddit
No but i am a very active person and it is very recent. But FYI this isnt my first rodeo with GLP analogues- i had a 9 month cycle of Ozempic mid 2020s, where i went down from 88kgs (194 lb) to 59kgs(130 lbs) ( which was excessive for my 5’10 height and reeeally made me loose muscle) and my weight has since been “climbing” steadily through these 5 years while i tried to regain muscles.

Any side affects?
cudes_123@reddit
No side effects apart from mild diarrhea at the end of a weekend where i was staying at an all inclusive resort, so yeah, nothing that couldn’t have been prevented if i just kept my portions smaller.

My colleague got a glp-1 from a compounder at a health spa. She nearly died. Get it from your Dr.

Please expand! Wth!

She was on one GLP and switched to another. She didn't get it from her Dr but from a compounding pharmacy (ie they make something resembling the patented stuff). She ended up being allergic to something in the formulation of the compounding pharmacy/company.
The official products are tested extensively. The compounding stuff, which is officially illegal, simply isn't the same formulation. Hims etc are non-official medications. They may be more trustworthy than other sources, but I would still NEVER get this from a non-presciption place.

Wow thanks for sharing.

I'm not sure there's a need for an unethical pro tip because there are companies like noom that do microdosing of glp1 for non obese people.

The r/glp1 sub has tonnes of advice on this. As a not obese person who needed to get rid of 25 llbs, I just talked to my doctor and they prescribed it. No need for anything unethical here.

You can buy tirzepitide (generic Mounjaro) as a research chemical, no prescription needed, and reconstitute it yourself. The biohackers subreddit has info on this.

Also went from 54kg to 50kg no side effects, 0.25mg

not sure you'll get it through doctor but if you want to obtain it without needing prescription you can order it online from in*rt just find a reliable vendor on there that has good reviews so you don't get scammed
