ULPT: Google employee used connections to find my info while obsessive

I had a friend from my old college years that I sporadically texted once or twice a year just to catch up. Different genders, but I was more a family friend, and nothing even close happened between said friend and me.
They’re divorcing, he’s going insane. He shoved his hands down a teenage girls pants as they were leaving a family gathering, and other weirdly gross and abusive things.
Anyway, unbeknownst to me he’s been obsessed with me for years. Already calling me the kids stepdad. He was able to get our phone numbers somehow. Getting my wife’s phone number is especially weird, as there is no way, my friend would have her number.
Anyway, he texted and hit up my wife pretty much on every social media informing her that me and Friend were having an affair. I showed my wife my texts and everything and explained to her that he’s just an insane person. My wife and now Friend have talked. To be clear my wife and I have many friends of opposite genders and we both are cool with it.
My wife and friends say to let it go because it’s only gonna make things worse for my friend. I disagree. He works at Google at a fairly senior position and it’s clear to me that he used that information to get ours.

Stalking is just slow murder.

I wouldn't assume that the person did anything other than get information from public databases. There is an insane amount of information one can just find online.

Don't think this is an ULPT. I'd contact the police and the company. The Police won't do anything but there will be a paper trail. Google might do something, especially if there is a convincing case he used company resources for unlawful ends.

Even without police just call their company and tell them this info

While I love this subreddit, this is actually a case where you need to do the ethical thing. File police reports and then bring those to management at Google.
