Kel-el no!
Clean-Ad3000@reddit
got to wonder, is it worth being there in person to visit some shithole country the other side of the world?
motosandguns@reddit
F22(s) sitting out of frame?
CarminSanDiego@reddit
Don’t bring f22 into this. F22 pilots real pissed rn after being promised to finally get air to air action and only to be sitting in desert hiding from rockets
notang@reddit
Genuine question, why aren't 22s flying? It's strange but everything seems to still be f16s
Immediate-Spite-5905@reddit
no use for air superiority fighters when Iran's already lost most if not all of their fast jets
84Cressida@reddit
And their jets were 50 year old F-14s
Wall_Significant@reddit
They still have a few mig-29s, but yea, their Air Force was a wreck even before the war.
DDX1837@reddit
The post says PAF (Pakistan Air Force). And F-22's were never sold to foreign countries.
Ok-Parfait-9856@reddit
There’s no real point. A cheaper f-15 can do do whatever we need and a few f-35s can do all the electronic warfare stuff. The f-22 is cool but not needed when we’re just hitting ground targets
thetiredtypist@reddit
Gotta reserve them for air-to-balloon combat
historyeeter@reddit (OP)
Ask Iran.
Brainfart92@reddit
Yeah that is not a 757.
DoctorDinghus@reddit
Then what is it?
Stuf404@reddit
I've never seen one before - no one has - but I'm guessing it's a white hole.
Signal-Session-6637@reddit
You mean that orange whirly thing in space?
GravyPainter@reddit
A220?
MeyersonAdam@reddit
It just takes one person to change the world.
normaal_volk@reddit
Bet he loves the attention
Darth19Vader77@reddit
Their whole party gives off "kid who was neglected, so now they lash out for attention from strangers" vibes
Imaginary-Brick-1614@reddit
Is the close formation just for show right after takeoff? Isn’t it tiring to fly so close to each other, without any practical benefit?
pomonamike@reddit
It’s a fantastic way to demonstrate a mid-air collision. That’s why you don’t see Air Force fighters doing this everytime AF1 is up. Also zero combat benefit to any threat.
S1075@reddit
What a weirdly alarmist take.
This is symbolic and happens all the time with foreign visits around the world. Even the Danish Olympic team had escorts after the games concluded.
Duatha@reddit
I love symbolic gestures costing at least tens if not hundreds of thousands in fuel and maintenance costs so the big man can look out the window and go "hee hee they like me :3"
johnnyribcage@reddit
Why?
lemmonquaaludes@reddit
Yeah, this war totally makes financial sense! /s
freshposthistory@reddit
I know you’re being sarcastic but no one is actually saying that non-sarcastically
YellowT-5R@reddit
Cool video but not the C-32
84Cressida@reddit
That’s not the C-32
