My 2021 Traverse’s power lift gate won’t latch. When we shut it manually or using a power button the latch won’t stay. I can see the latch it’s not locked in place and actually closes around the hook, but won’t stay locked.

I’ve pulled out the fuse and checked, it was ok.

Unhooked the battery for a few minutes to try a “reset”.

Any ideas on how to fix? Have an appointment for Monday morning but trying to DIY if possible.
