I am looking for a hybrid/trekking type bike in the UK for recreational riding and sometimes carrying a toddler on the rear rack.

There are so many good options around my budget that it's hard to choose.

Canyon Pathlite

Merida eFloat

Cube Kathmandu

Giant Explore E+

I am tending towards the Giant but that is the only non-Bosch option and I don't know if I should just stick to a Bosch system.

At the high end there is Riese and Muller with belt drive and Rohloff but the cost is almost double.
