Tires for Ford Escape 2017 SE?

While I’d like to save money if I can, I want to get some tires to help with traction in winter and rain that will last a while. I plan to have my car for another 5 years or more and I only drive about 10k miles a year. I’m willing to make an investment if it will pay off and help me stay safe in bad weather. We live in a rural area. Any suggestions or tires to avoid? Thanks for your help!

Call Tire Rack and speak to one of their Reps. I've been buying tires from them for decades

Michelin CrossClimate 2’s. I think they are a solid buy if you want to just stick with one tire year round, rain and snow.

Agreed, if you live somewhere with occasional snow the snow-rated all seasons are really nice to have. You can't go wrong with Michelin. Bridgestone WeatherPeak are also great and can be found a little cheaper than Michelin.
