What is the biggest bargain that you recently secured?

I go first :)
Bought an Acne Studio Alpaca hoodie for £70 on eBay, I usually buy to later sell (I try to be honest haha) but this was more like a both "item that I personally liked" as well as something that I thought had potential scenario.
When I saw it I thought that something like this would maybe go for 400 max if you were to buy it brand new, but holy cow if I was wrong...
I found it from the current designer collection from the brand and going for over £1K...
This is not the first time that I end up in this situation, although it is definitely the most recent one..

Recently we needed a new king size matress topper. My wife found a posh one for £120 but the price on the shelf was wrong and been mislabled as £35
She had a 10% off discount code if you spend over £50.
The shop honored the shelf price of £35, scanned the discount code which took £12 off the original £120 and the till detucted it from the £35 so we got it for £23

Got rtn flights to Japan for £300pp. Would normally be about £700pp but I pulled some tricks.

Direct to Beijing first spend a couple days before jumping on a flight to Osaka and doing the same on the way back.
There aren’t any direct flights to Japan from Scotland anyway.

Bought a special edition 2012 MX5 for £6700, cheapest i can find them for anywhere else is about £9500.

Yup, plan to keep it for the long run, went through a string of them and kept coming back to them after trying out other enthuiast cars, gonna keep this one alongside some other fun cars (when i've got the money haha)

I had to get some physical passport photos printed. I went to Boots and was horrified to see it was £10!!
Instead went into the booth and balanced my phone for a selfie with perfect passport lighting and background. Walked to the back of Boots to the photo section and self printed a strip of the photo for 53p

Back in august, my car was reduced from the market value of £20k to £17.7k as the dealer chain was closing the branch and they didn’t want to move all their stock as their next closest in miles away.

Was probably around a year, maybe 2 years ago but was still a very good price then. I think backmarket had a glitch or promotion or something. Works like a charm

Nope, I did a quick click and collect and never heard another word about it til a few days later when it was all over social media. I kept an eye on my bank account in case extra charges came but nothing came off, never got so much as an email thankfully, hadn't seen my son so excited on Christmas day in a few years (it's around the anniversary of his dads death), was amazing to see the sparkle in his eyes again

Ebay, model railway loco - Brand new unopened NRM Platinum Edition Midland Compound. They are fairly uncommon and unopened like rocking horse poo so go for £300+ Just received the one I won for £80.
Also took my dad to get him a new tv (as his CVT tv has FINALLY died!) Saw one he liked, with a digi-box to let him record on display at £499 (total). Staff member went into store room to fetch them, scanned them and total came to £199 for the lot. My dad being my dad opened his mouth and said "are you sure?" 🫣. Scanned it again AND checked the codes matched. £179!!!! It's at his house now set up and he's happily watching Father Brown "It's so clear". Yes dad, because you're 80 and been watching a 22" cvt screen since 1999.

Yep and yep. I ended up selling it for $670 so I can say that it actually a really good deal!
