Several dudes on my football team liked Dragon Age Origins lmao this guy is just looking for excuses for not having friends
Pretend-Charge5029@reddit
are you a zoomer? i think his point is that like 20ish years ago being a "gamer" was far more socially unacceptable than it is now
LooseButtPlug@reddit
This is a ridiculous cope.
Oldfag gamer going back to NES. Grew up with all the nerdy shit, games, comic books, DND. Normal amount of friends, played sports and had LAN parties. All those "jocks" you think hate vidya played final fantasy, mortal Kombat, WWE, etc. into the early morning every weekend.
The truth is most of you "gaymers" are just insufferable and antisocial. It wouldn't matter what you're into, you never would have been accepted.
Pretend-Charge5029@reddit
you seem really hostile for 0 reason and seem to be projecting
assuming youre not lying at all did you consider your own expierence isn't universal?
LooseButtPlug@reddit
Facts ≠ hostility
My experience is universal as long as you're not a fat, smelly, drooling dweeb.

I’m talking about the exact game the OP is claiming as the reason he was an outcast. I played the game on release, didn’t hide it, and wasn’t an outcast. I was a varsity athlete with a normal amount of friends.
Pretend-Charge5029@reddit
i suppose its probably a bit of both, but honestly anon (assuming its real to begin with) probably was disliked for far more than playing video games.
Jiveturtle@reddit
They’re full of shit. There was substantial crossover between being a hopeless social outcast and video games, sure, but that was because most of the kids into that kind of shit didn’t shower and/or had fuck all social skills. I was born in 1981 and grew up playing video games, magic the gathering, and dungeons and dragons. Lost my virginity at 15, never had a problem finding a girl to sleep with me. And back then, girls were most of the time fully biological girls.
RealScionEcto@reddit
Dragon Age Origins came out in 2009 BTW. That was the Xbox 360/PS3 era. When gaming was becoming mainstream.
Anon is just autistic.
leastemployableman@reddit
Anon fails to realize that his interests aren't what made him an outcast. It's because he's smelly and fat.
Jiveturtle@reddit
Can confirm. I was born in 1981. Grew up on video games, magic the gathering, and dungeons and dragons. Lost my virginity at 15, never had any problems getting laid.
Skill issue.
Pretend-Charge5029@reddit
i notice you keep bragging about losing your virginity at 15 despite no one asking. did you get raped or somthing and are coping?
RetroTheGameBro@reddit
Unreal cope out of anon #1.
I literally made lifelong friends like 30 minutes into high school by quoting ASDFmovie and Oblivion memes to the first group of people I saw in slogan t-shirts.

You have been hurt anon, you have been hurt. Who hurt you?
Loathe_the_Hive@reddit
I just started DA:O the other day for the first time. I've had it since release... Just never got around to it. I think I just freed the murderous... KUNARI? KIMARI?? QUNARI?
Anyways, I'm excited to play it for the first time. And 2 actually.
DoTheMonsterHash@reddit
And no lie was spoken.
StreetQuailHeimer@reddit
It's not because you liked vidya, it's because all you talked about was vidya
