I work within the criminal justice system. Every single public defender I have ever interacted with believes that jail/prison should not exist, that police should not exist, that crime should only be "punished" by community service and therapy.

We you take into account the sheer amount of exonerated people who 'confessed' maybe having someone push back and holding the system accountable to misconduct isn't so bad.

It's something like 98% of those represented by PDs Plea out, leading to most PDs just thinking everyone guilty. Prosecutors tag on felonies to get people PDs to plea out to speed-up the system.

There's a lecture on some of this from Columbia University I think titled "Gideon v. Wainright (sp) and it's unintended consequences" from I think 2006 showing what a shit-show it is

Build on the Banshee is more solid, but never get a CMMG in anything other than black because their coatings are extremely thin and prone to chips and marks.

The other questionable aspect of the Banshee are the springs on the bolts, and they're also incredibly picky about magazines, at least on the MkGs Glock mag version.

Mine shoots beautifully but it remains a gun I wished I'd done more research on before blindly buying.
