I was bored with my Chromebook , shoved Linux on it and it can do a lot more.

Chromebook 4, N4000, I have ran ultimate-macOS-KVM and ran 10.7 Mountain Lion on this bad boy, as well as run modded Minecraft 1.20.1 at decent frame rates, I plan on trying to see what Steam games will run on it, but in the mean time, I’m happy with it!

Isn't there some hurdle with installing Linux on a Chromebook? I vaguely remember looking into it once and there being some issue that makes it problematic.

It's incredible how Linux unlocks the full potential of lower-end or older hardware, especially Chromebooks, by giving them a fully fledged, feature-rich, and lightweight OS.
