When I bought my house 20+ years ago, the seller asked if he could leave the stuff in the attic. I cleaned it out a few years later and found this guy, with the original manuals, rebate card, etc. It has been hanging out in my garage ever since, which I remembered during out cleanout.

Parsec was a fun game to play on this computer. This computer can get very warm to the touch too. I remember it well.

I loved Parsec and Alpiner! Yes, it certainly got toasty 🥵
Boxagami3@reddit
Yeah, Alpiner I remember that!! That was fun too! These computers were heavily displayed I remember as a kid, at KMart stores.

That's where my mom bought ours.

Welllll that ad didn’t age well

I ve been watching old episodes of The Price is Right recently, and they have these computers as prizes sometimes. Contestants are always stymied by them, because most people in the early 80’s didn’t have an understanding of, or a want for, computers.

Better check that guy's hard drive.

That is the first computer I had. It didn't have a cassette storage system, so every time I typed in a BASIC program from a magazine, I had to leave it on until I was done with it or it overheated: whichever came first.

"Now this right here is the most splendiferous home computer on Earth. Just drink this suspiciously fizzing drink and then we can play some games." 😂
