Dream not going right to plan

Hey flying team,
I’m a 21 year old private pilot, about to be commercial licensed pilot in Australia.
My training has essentially stalled due to night VFR lessons not going ahead due weather for several months on end now. I am so out of practice with flying and my test is only 2 flights away in the syllabus, I really cannot afford another failure on my record (PPL).
This has also lead to me missing the cutoff for the next intake into my instructor rating and has left me in a state of confusion and frustration, as I won’t be able to fly (other than private hire) for several months once I finish the flight test.
I am looking for advice and just general motivation as my dream to get to a job as soon as possible just feels so far away and these setbacks keep on happening.
My near future plans include doing ATPL’s in the time away from flying, hopefully being able to connect with as many aviation companies and professionals as possible, and most importantly consider a new school for the rest of my training (CFI and IFR).

Maybe try the AU/NZ GA forum over on pprune.org: The Pacific: General Aviation & Questions - PPRuNe Forums
There is a "Newbie & Flight Training" thread that is generally pretty active.

If you wanna be in aviation you gotta get used to being flexible. Not everything is gonna work out first try, or second try, or third try. People I know have waited years, fair or not.
You’re young and you’ll learn - this is part of life.
