John Lewis or Otto mattress? What are your opinions on these mattresses?

Hi all,

Time for a new mattress, been doing my research and have narrowed it down to :

OTTY Original Hybrid Mattress (https://otty.com/products/the-otty-hybrid-mattress?variant=7683067609139) or the
or the John Lewis 1200 spring Classic (https://www.johnlewis.com/john-lewis-classic-collection-1200-pocket-spring-mattress-firm-tension-double/p112981291)

I prefer mattresses on the firmer side so would love to hear people's opinions on the two mattresses above.

Didn't realise you could try out Otty's? (other than the Otty 100 day trial). Where can you try both? John Lewis stores are a good hour away from me

Personally I wouldn’t buy a mattress without trying it out, done it in the past, learnt from my mistake. John Lewis offer a 60 night trial (buy a mattress protector at same time) I cannot comment on the other brand never heard of it.

I've had an Otty for years and I'd definitely recommend it. Top quality, firm but comfortable too.

IIRC John Lewis mattresses are made by Hypnos, and I’m a big fan of Hypnos. I’m on my second, and it deals with my size effortlessly.
