Upgrade for CS2

Specs
AMD Ryzen 5 7600X 4.7 GHz
MSI B650 GAMING PLUS WIFI ATX AM5
32 GB DDR5-6000 CL30
Geforce RTX 2070 SUPER
Experiencing quite low fps in certain scenarios. If I'd want to upgrade, what would be the best move, CPU or GPU upgrade? Only for playing cs2.
And what would be the recommended model to upgrade to?
Thank you guys in advance.

I had this same configuration with a Newegg combo I bought last year, but I used a 6600xt which is almost identical to the 2070 super. I upgraded my CPU to a 7800x3d and sold my 7600x for $150 on Facebook. I sold my 6600xt for $200 on Facebook and bought a 7800xt for $400. If you have the money I'd do a similar upgrade path, maybe a 4070 for $400 if you prefer Nvidia. Also aaawave.com sold me a 7800x3d for $315 no shipping or taxes. Last I saw they had them for $320 but idk if they still are tax and shipping free.

Thanks man! The 7800x3d is pretty affordable, but would it really be a big upgrade to the 7600x though?

Tbh any am5 CPU you get won't be real huge of an upgrade, I just went ahead and upgraded for the 1% lows and since I probably won't upgrade again for another 8-10 years. I didn't want the 7800x3d to be discontinued before then and prices jacked up like the 5800x3d did

just buy rtx 5070 / rx 9060xt 16gb / rx 5060ti 16gb

X3D is the only sensible option here. Which one is just the question of money.

is it?

Your cpu is just fine, gpu is holding you back. X3d cpu would give you small improvement but it is not necessary and is not your issue.

I guess so as well. What's the cpu you would buy here?
Accomplished_Emu_658@reddit
I said cpu is fine. The gpu? Depends on your budget. But anything with 12gb vram or above. Like 4070, 4070 super, 5060ti 16gb, 9060xt 16gb. Etc

Thanks I appreciate you!
