Nothing hit harder than that theme song kicking in while you're still trying to wake up. Cinnamon Toast Crunch turning the milk into straight nectar. And then the commercials for toys you'd never get but wanted so bad. Saturdays were sacred. Now I just wake up to emails and regret.

I loved this show so much. During the long week of waiting for another episode, I would swing in my backyard and sing the theme song to myself.

Then of course see how high I could swing and then jump, flying into the air and landing in a heap like it was nothing and then getting right back on said swing which was made from a board between two trees w ropes and a little seat that kinda looked like a high chair tray tied together

This Act of Congress ordered the FCC to implement regulations surrounding programming that serves the "educational and informational" (E/I) needs of children, as well as the amount of advertising broadcast during television programs aimed towards children. This included that a station's commitment to airing and supporting educational children's programming had to become a factor in license renewals
