Same, or the thing would move on the paper and ruin the pattern.
I never figured out if there was some trick to attaching the guides to the paper so they didnt move.

I don’t think I knew these existed and now I’m mad at my younger self. The kids museum in my town had a setup that would make these kinds of drawings automatically if that makes sense.

We had one and I used the living shit out of it on the dining room table but turns out I should have put a placemat under the paper because there was a perpetual series of loops and swirls on that table
