Gas barrel removal

I removed the gas barrel. I still have to drain it. Also I need to disconnect the fuel pump that was in it.

Or maybe a can? You can see though, it's definitely not an actual gas tank.

I'm just worried it's a fire hazard, plus lack of capacity.

The previous owner used a barrel, yes.
