The only criticism I have is the fact the rear drum sight is mounted on the dust cover, which isn't very stable unless its designed to lock in place tight (like the AK12 is supposed to do).

I think the “gas tube” is just a metal jacket to mount the front and rear sights, and, the real gas tube runs inside of it, so your hand don’t touch hot metal and you avoid heat mirage distortion from the gas tube getting hot, since someone suggested this is the actual gas tube, it is not.

The rear dust cover is still removable but cut out like a clip to wrap around the sides of said tube. I think we need a video with this gun taken apart but that tube looks like it’s staying in place while removing the dust cover to clear out anything not working.
