Am I a fud

(5th is gun that is shipping to me) don’t believe in most gun laws. Most modern guns I have is a 9 millimeter mini kel tech it’s in top left pocket , a nine millimeter high point 🙏. which is stored in a smaller case that holds all the guns that really couldn’t do much ex. 22s, BB guns, and pellet guns. ,and a 40. caliber Glock 23 who is visible in picture haven’t gotten an A.R. 15 yet cause I just haven’t got around to it also I have a 12 gauge pump in my closet right next to where I sleep for home defense, which might be another sign that I’m a fud I don’t know. The oldest Model gun I have might be my browning auto five Belgium made, which is in one of these socks. I have

To me a fudd is someone who owns guns but says crap like, I don’t know why anyone needs an AR
Imperialist_Canuck@reddit
Boy, what you need 30 rounds for? You think the deer is gonna shoot back?
LunchboxKovacs@reddit
I was thinking yes til I saw the RIA 1911. That makes you a wannabe fud
Sixgun-I-owe-you-one@reddit (OP)
Why would I wanna be that Also, what’s wrong with rock Island Armour?
Proud-Positive4551@reddit
*Glances at OPs username*...
Yes.
Senior-Contribution8@reddit
How do you feel about super safety’s? Your opinion will answer that question
Sixgun-I-owe-you-one@reddit (OP)
Please don’t crucify me for this, but I don’t even know what super safety means If you explain to me what it is Then I probably will be able to tell you, but to be honest I’ve been trying to get me one of them 9 mm Mini Gatling guns because those are technically legal Keyword there technically The second you attach a motor to it, boom it’s illegal But if you just hand crank it then it’s not On some * Tallyho lads*
Senior-Contribution8@reddit
It makes your semi auto AR shoot wayyyyy faster while technically still being semi auto https://youtu.be/qIutiJqbYhU?si=MZmcNOfwohvGRsgO
Sixgun-I-owe-you-one@reddit (OP)
Is HELL yeah And you know why Supreme Court judge this should be legal because stone cold-
Senior-Contribution8@reddit
Basically, your trigger still moves back and forth with each shot so it’s technically semi auto. I have one and absolutely love it. Pretty easy to install. Check out r/supersafety for verified vendors
Sixgun-I-owe-you-one@reddit (OP)
Give me a Hell yeah
Sixgun-I-owe-you-one@reddit (OP)
Just watched the video and oh my God, how is that even considered semi auto That thing is basically fully automatic at this point you know what I want one
FearWont@reddit
FRTs and bump stocks are stupid. There is zero reason we should have them. They are a half ass bandaid work around for unconstitutional laws. The NFA just needs to be repeated.
Infinite-Space-2395@reddit
Yea but its fun tho
Pashur604@reddit
Repealed?
FearWont@reddit
Thank you.
richsreddit@reddit
Stop lying you definitely have an AR hidden somewhere underneath all those museum pieces.
Sixgun-I-owe-you-one@reddit (OP)
I really want one But I just haven’t gotten one yet. I found a Good deal on a Ruger A.R. 15 For about 340 bucks In birds gun shop in the store in Tennessee, but I I was about to leave From my trip to Tennessee anyway so I couldn’t of got the gun
Lower-Ad-1300@reddit
I want one too but I’m married to an anti AR woman. I love my wife so I have to comfort myself with lots of pistols. We all have to compromise
GullibleRisk2837@reddit
My advice is, if possible, wait until July 4th sales. There may be some significant sales on rifles.
If you need a few good "budget" options, I say check out PSA Sabre, IWI Zion, Smith and Wesson M&P 15 Sport III.
Logizyme@reddit
Fudd is a state of mind not what guns you have.
But if I had to imagine a Fudd's safe, it would look like yours.
Sixgun-I-owe-you-one@reddit (OP)
Other than the keltech, Glock and High Point yeah It’s really just because I like old guns Also, probably should’ve said this, but about Four these guns are From my dad and grandpa
Lower-Ad-1300@reddit
Fuck these a holes ! You got guns enjoy them. You don’t need some posters approval

preparedbassfisher@reddit
I mean, if you only shoot for hunting and dont believe in...fighting tyranny then yeah.
Sixgun-I-owe-you-one@reddit (OP)
Don’t believe in fighting tyranny laughs in American what do you think our ancestors did
preparedbassfisher@reddit
No no no they asked politely. Their guns were for hunting and sport shooting didn’t ya know?
Sixgun-I-owe-you-one@reddit (OP)
Yeah, definitely the only reason that the British died were because they were so mean that we put kind words inside of the musketballs instead of the basketball balls that killed him. It was the kind words. We literally killed them with kindness and that’s where the phrase comes from
preparedbassfisher@reddit
Killed them with kindness and bought the proper permits in order to protest telling them our grievances

Sarge_09@reddit
If by fudd you mean good ole boy then yes lol
Proper-Entertainer13@reddit
Yes most definitely I was going to ask where's the 1911 but then I scrolled and I found it LOL. I can't complain I've got a 1911 and probably another one coming. Both are Marine Corps pattern 1911 so
Sixgun-I-owe-you-one@reddit (OP)
Well funds don’t depend on what gun you have. It depends on whether or not you think modern day gun should be banned. And that you should only use guns for hunting But I don’t have that settlement even though I do like hunting
Sixgun-I-owe-you-one@reddit (OP)
To be fair though I’m still trying to get an AR 15 I like this sleek design of it I also think it’s pretty good for home defense Because it Does not blow through a wall like a shotgun will but still has a lot of power in
Low-Landscape-4609@reddit
No but I can tell you're an avid hunter.
I grew up hunting myself and when you have slings on all your rifles, you're definitely hitting the woods a lot.
Sixgun-I-owe-you-one@reddit (OP)
You can also tell that I’m an avid Hunter from the taxidermy, antlers, and skull (Which I still haven’t got around to getting out of the cleaning bucket I just don’t know where I’m gonna put it)
Sixgun-I-owe-you-one@reddit (OP)
Yeah, and then there are people calling me a fud for having very slightly inaccurate Information Or just even owning some of these guns
MassiveAd2391@reddit
Yes
Sixgun-I-owe-you-one@reddit (OP)
Can you explain to me why?
MassiveAd2391@reddit
Well the stereotype is only or primarily having old long guns, primarily low capacity, wood stock, in more antiquated cartridges (think 30-06, .270 win, 30-30, etc.) and not seeing any advantage in never firearms technology
Sixgun-I-owe-you-one@reddit (OP)
Fud means that AR 15s, Glocks etc. Should all be banned And that you only need guns for hunting and hunting only Also, I have a Highpoint, Glock, and keltech mini nine mil and been trying to get an A.R. 15 So I don’t think that I Don’t see any advantage in newer Firearms
Big_Z_Diddy@reddit
Depends. What are your thoughts on the 1911?
If answer is anything along the lines of "Two World Wars!" Or "7 rounds is all you need!" Then yes, you are probably a Fudd.
If the answer is "Eh, they're okay, but I prefer having more rounds on hand." Or "JAM-O-MATIC TRASH!" Then you are not a Fudd. You are probably a gun Autist though, and that's fine.
Sixgun-I-owe-you-one@reddit (OP)
My thoughts in 1911 is that I like it more because of the stopping power it has Which I mean, I already have an 8+1 In the 1911 that I have And yeah, I guess I do like having more rounds But the reason I like the 1911 is because like I said it has stopped Power, my dad told me a story about how one of the people that are working in Sharp was shot in the back of the head with a nine mil he even has the scars to prove it everything And wasn’t killed
Big_Z_Diddy@reddit
So semi-Fudd based on flawed anecdotal evidence.
Lemme tell you a story about Skokie, Il Police Sergeant Timothy Gramins and why he carries 145 rounds of 9x19mm.
One day in 2008, he got a call about an armed bank robbery. He found the car, initiated a traffic stop, and the bad guy came out shooting. So Officer Gramins shot back with his Glock 21 loaded with .45 ACP. He hit the suspect 14 times. 6 of those in fatal areas (heart, liver, both lungs, diaphragm, right kidney, and head). The suspect survived long enough to get to the hospital. Gramins was hit a bunch of times too, and they ended up in adjoining ER rooms.
Gramins said he overheard the ER doctor asking "Jesus Christ, why did they shoot him so many times?!?!" It should be noted that the toxicology report for the suspect came back negative, so it wasn't PCP or similar drugs keeping the dude alive.
Gramins used to carry 47 total rounds of .45. He fired all but Now he carries 145 rounds of 9mm.
Modern 9x19mm, especially +P and +P+ will handily outperform .45 ACP in all metrics.
I have serious doubts about your dad's story about a guy being shot in the back of the head with a 9mm and surviving. It's not impossible, but highly improbable. The scar could be from anything.
In any event, nobody that has ever survived a gunfight has complained about having too much ammunition. More is always better. I know, the old saying goes "9 kills the body, but 45 kills the soul", and it's kindof horseshit. 9 will do the job just fine.
Sixgun-I-owe-you-one@reddit (OP)
Also, let me tell you a story of why the 45 was invented And Its feet’s So it was invented for stopping power because we were fighting a war against people that were doing plants That made you not feel pain And so it was invented for that war Also, it’s feet are that it was always tested by if it could kill a cow by shooting in the head And it worked every time because that’s how the government tested if it was suitable Also, it’s the only Caliber known to have shot down an airplane Before I know that just made me sound like more of a fud and I’m not saying the Glocks aren’t good either but I’m just saying If I could get the amount of bullets that are mine has in the 45 that would be the best ever Just make a Thick pistol where the rounds are double stacked in 45 But anyway, that’s also why it’s called ACP anti cow projectile.
Big_Z_Diddy@reddit
Wow, you have some really bad info man. Yeah you really are a Fudd.
ACP stands for Automatic Colt Pistol. Same as .25, .32, .380, and .38 ACP.
The .45 didn't "shoot a plane down". It killed the pilot. It isn't the same thing. Yes, I know they story you are referring to.
Also the Italians used the Villar Perosa 9x23mm pistol cartridge as an antiaircraft gun during WW1.
As far as the Thompson-LaGarde Tests, they shot the cows point blank in the lungs. The ones that didn't die immediately were then shot in the head. A .380 (also an ACP cartridge) will kill a cow if you shoot it in the head at point blank range.
I will also note that the .45 ACP of 1904 and the 9x19mm of the same era are not the same cartridges as those produced today. Modern materials and propellants level the playing field. The only metric the .45 beats the 9mm at is the size of the hole it produces. The 9mm is superior in all other respects, ammo capacity, follow-up shots, weight, ergonomics, recoil control, and cost per round.
If you like .45 ACP, you do you. I don't really care. But don't try to pass bullshit off as fact.
Sixgun-I-owe-you-one@reddit (OP)
I was making a joke Everyone knows that it doesn’t really stand for anti-Cow Projectile but it seems like That Don’t understand when people are being sarcastic
Sixgun-I-owe-you-one@reddit (OP)
There’s a literal court case that happened around my area. One of my family members knew the guy it happened was that he was at a Card table I think it was I couldn’t remember that detail with the detail. I did remember was that he shot the dude through the table with a nine mil in the head and the dude started getting up and attempting to reach for his gun So he shot him in the head another time while he was on the ground And so he spent a lot longer in jail because of that detail By the way, it was self-defense because the other guy was attempting to attack him But it stopped being self-defense the second he finished him off Also, the bullet scar that I was talking about. I’ve seen in real life and it is the exact shape that a bullet scar should be. Well, I say scarlet it’s more of like a weird Kind Flesh thing Search up bullet scar on Google and it’ll be in like people’s arms or legs or something and it looks like that
Sixgun-I-owe-you-one@reddit (OP)
Just realize how stupid I sounded saying literal court case
FearWont@reddit
That’s quite a dichotomy you have there on 1911s. I guess I’m a Fudd. I carry a Mil-Spec with standard capacity magazines.
I always thought it was one’s option on the Shall Not Be Infringed.
Big_Z_Diddy@reddit
It is totally personal preference. But the "Mah Stopping Power" myth is just that, a myth. If you wanna carry a 1911 you go ahead. It doesn't necessarily make you a Fudd. What makes someone a Fudd is believing all the bullshit this guy believes, like a .45 shot an enemy plane down (the guy shot the pilot).
Carry what you like, but leave the Fudd lore at the door.
Bigdaddyjlove1@reddit
1911 fits my hand and points as naturally as my finger. Anyone who cannot appreciate the difference in a crisp, single action trigger, and the mush most striker fired pistols have, isn't worth listening to. I have plenty of modern plastic. It's fine. I've got a couple of tiny 9mms that hold a handful. That's generally what I carry, for practical reasons, but when circumstances allow, 1911 is mummy go to.
em1977@reddit
I can think of worse things to be, really.
akornzombie@reddit
No. You are in tune with the will of the /k/ube.
RedBullTaco@reddit
I'm afraid so.
GetGoatedYourself@reddit
I could careless about what firearms you own and why. It's when you try to tell me about what I should be allowed to own that you step into fudd land.
If I want to own an AR and do mag dumps through a 100 round drum mag then go make a cup of coffee on a Saturday morning and watch cartoons, that's my prerogative.
Sixgun-I-owe-you-one@reddit (OP)
I also don’t know why no one has sent me anything about my taxidermy, Antlers, And deer skull
Important-Block9260@reddit
Well you said most guns laws so what are the some you agree with maybe they are talking about that
Sixgun-I-owe-you-one@reddit (OP)
The ones that I agree with Is the one where you can only have a fully automatic machine gun If you have a certain license, and you generally can’t own an RPG Unless you have a special license and stuff like that, we’re just kind of common sense I mean, do I hate the fact that those laws exist because I want a rocket launcher and a fully automatic machine gun yes Do I think it’s smart that they wouldn’t allow that for someone to get especially whenever a person who has ill intentions can just show up a rocket launcher and a machine gun and just start mowing people down yes
Important-Block9260@reddit
Yeah dude your a fudd sorry about that
Sixgun-I-owe-you-one@reddit (OP)
How am I a fud when I literally said the only laws I agree with are the ones where you have to have licenses to own RPG and a machine gun What do you want me to say next door rule where you have to get a license to Get a fully functioning tank That’s literally the barest of bones rules you could get I disagree with the laws that don’t allow you to Have the four grip And bump stocks, and all that crap I don’t even know if bump stuck to the right words for it but you know which ones I’m talking about
Quackpack66_YT@reddit
just a thing- id think twice about storing that colt in a foam case- they can hold moisture and cause rust. i like ur guns
Sixgun-I-owe-you-one@reddit (OP)
Oh, you sweet, sweet fool that’s a grohm model 66 22. that’s essentially the high point of revolvers it was my grandpa’s by the way but anyway unwarranted bullying aside yeah I probably shouldn’t have that foam case on it the only reason I do is because I had an airsoft gun and I’m just using that until we can get another gun case.
KimJongLicense2ill@reddit
if its the hi point of revolvers then fuck it- keep it in that case
Sixgun-I-owe-you-one@reddit (OP)
Also, I’ve been trying to restore the yellowed faux mother of pearl grip Because it got yellow after Being near gas from a heater
KimJongLicense2ill@reddit
hell yeah dude, rock that shit. honestly i dont think the yellow looks bad at all. its a pleasant color
Sixgun-I-owe-you-one@reddit (OP)
No, I will definitely not do that. The second I get a new case for it I’ll put it in it Because my grandpa’s
KimJongLicense2ill@reddit
your grandpa just texted me - he said “yolo , keep it in that case, fam” then shotgunned a beer
Sixgun-I-owe-you-one@reddit (OP)
He gave it to me because he liked the revolver It’s Made cheap but it’s a good gun It shoots straight And doesn’t jam because it’s a revolver It also has a really nice feel to it My grandpa loves guns, but he didn’t know what type of gun it was Because he got it for like 20 bucks off of a neighbor near him it was a woman who just got divorced from her husband and was giving away her stuff practically for free and this is one of the things that she gave to him for 20 bucks
Sixgun-I-owe-you-one@reddit (OP)
To be fair, it’s considered the high point of revolvers, but I’ve personally had no problem with it And it handles nice And I’ve also killed plenty of water Moccasin
Sixgun-I-owe-you-one@reddit (OP)
Also, I think a reason that I think I’m not a foot is because I’ve been trying to get me one of them miniature 9 mm Gatling guns Because those are legal because they’re technically semi automatic Because it depends on how fast you crank them God, could you imagine that In the little Gatling under so tiny They’re about the size of a SMG so you could probably fit one on Your nightstand if you cleared out enough space

I have an 870, a .357 revolver and lever action and a 1911.
Mainly because they were the guns I always wanted as a kid growing up in the UK as a WW2 history buff and a huge fan of classic cowboy movies.
Once I move out of CT I’ll add to the collection with proper capacity handguns and an AR.
