Renters insurance

I was torn between AOPA or AVEMCO decided to go to Avemco. Are there any credits that I should be aware of to note as a student pilot soloing or maybe credits that might not be noted on their site? Last week I called and asked the person I got didn’t give me much info on any sort of credit so figured to ask here if there’s anything I should note before I get it.

Friends don't let friends use Avemco. I know multiple flight schools who will not recognize their policies as valid rental insurance coverage.

Why?

AOPA membership may give some $$ off but it will be minimal. I'm ATP rated with CFI and have renters+instructor insurance it's like $20 less than my student pilots ($20K hull insurance).

How do you like having AOPA? I heard they are good they just go through third party which in all honesty is not a big deal unless their customer service is a pain to getaway hold of.
I will be moving around a bit for the next few years for work so will have to adjust my policy as needed

I should clarify. I use Avemco. I believe my AOPA membership gave me a small discount, in addition to recent checkride completion (MEI).
