No way. We aren't the generation that refuses to go away and give up their stranglehold on power. We never got a chance. We are the forgotten generation. We are so self reliant, that people don't think about us. We just keep on keeping on. We have seen the best and worst that the last 60 years has given us, and shrugged and kept to ourselves. We didn't turn on our values over the never ending quest for money. We are better than that.

Laughable. Difference between boomers and GenX for some is one year. Never got a chance? Victim mentality at it’s finest. What is so different? Most later boomers saw pensions long phased out. So same as Gen X. Have to fend for ourselves in retirement. Gen X were able to buy homes. Not like our kids today. College was relatively affordable for both. Not like today. We faced the same financial meltdowns (2000, 2008, etc). except we had the high interest rates of the 1980’s. Job markets have been a mess for a decade plus - affecting both. The woe is me stuff is just so tired. Plenty of GenX folks have done more than fine in spite of “having no chance”.

If anything Boomers need to face their parenting as a generation. But GenX blaming them for everything is laughable. Younger generations have more of a legitimate argument.

No, we are not. Gen X was the first generation to suffer at the hands of the boomers' actions regarding literally everything that has created the reality of life in the US right now. AND, now the next generation, what Millennials? They're now complicit with the boomers in the greed and the sucking every last cent from the rest of us.

Things that keep me from getting too riled up about the younger generations.

We used to 'Weeze the juice' and talk like Pee-Wee Herman. Annoying youth slang doesn't scare me.
