Nah, weapons rate right up there with dead animals as a decorative item. Makes one look like a sociopath who might have bodies in the basement 🤣 Unless that's the armory/gun room. In that case, it looks great!!!😃

All the walls in my house look like this because I'm a military firearms historian. I use these to teach people about history.
My grandfather fought in WW2 so this is the wall detected to him. And this is in my living room.
BBQSauce61@reddit
And here I was about to say it's missing an M1... Amazing collections!

And my uncle was in Vietnam so this is my display for his Vietnam service.
Lord_Chief_Rocka_@reddit
Were Uzis common for the US in Vietnam? A now passed family member was infantry and spoke a lot on his M16 jamming a lot but never heard him talk about an Uzi.

Macvsog used a lot of non American made weapons because if their unit was captured or killed the us government had plausible deniability especially when in other countries like Cambodia and lous. Because we technically weren't supposed to be in these countries to begin with and the missions were never supposed to exist. Publicly of course.
Ausco_1995@reddit (OP)
Not common among normal troops but Macvsog used them a lot.

And this is another wall detected to my grandfather who after WW2 was a sheriff and rancher in Montana.

One of these is illegal to own in 23 states in the union.
Ausco_1995@reddit (OP)
Um no it's semi-automatic
Useful-Ad-2274@reddit
Never heard of semi automatic brass knuckles
Ausco_1995@reddit (OP)
Lol that's not what I thought you were talking about and they're legal to own just not to carry where I live.
Sixgun-I-owe-you-one@reddit
Wait a minute Thompson’s come in semi automatic What’s the point then?
Ausco_1995@reddit (OP)
Yeah I get why some people wouldn't get it but I'm happy being able to own one of my dream guns without spending $30.000 or more. Even if it doesn't have a fun switch.
Sixgun-I-owe-you-one@reddit
Get a super safety on it Though that’s only four AR’s I think so if that doesn’t work get a TRT on it Technically still semi automatic
Ausco_1995@reddit (OP)
Yeah if they end up making one for the Thompson I'll be sure to grab one.
Sixgun-I-owe-you-one@reddit
Makes senseÂ

Nice! Question on the Tommy: Is your rear sight loose? Like can you move it around within the rivets?
Ausco_1995@reddit (OP)
Mine is secured with 4 small flathead screws and it's tight.
