Pc to TV that has soundbar connected

Hello everyone,
Happy weekend! I recently bought Crimson Desert on my pc and wanted to play on my oled tv because i prefer couch gaming during the weekend. My TV is currently connected with e-arc hdmi.
My question is: If i connected from my pc to the TV via HDMI cable, does the sound from the game will come out from the soundbar or do i need to do some configuration for it?
Thank you for reading!

For whatever reason, I couldn't get mine to work over arc. I wound up just connecting my PC to the soundbar via bluetooth

You just have to activate the audio output through HDMI/your GPU in the Audio settings when Windows is not doing it automatically.

This…it is not automatic at all. You have to tell windows which audio outlet you want to use or else windows will use whatever audio output it is currently using.

Was for me when i did it the last time under Win7 a decade ago with my Laptop.

With my desktop I have to switch between the tv speakers and my headset. Both are always connected and windows needs to know which one to use.

Assuming the TV is setup to use the soundbar for all audio output, it should work.

Unless you unplug the HDMI for the eArc when plugging in your PC, it will work, or at least it should.
