Seagate HDD making grinding noises

So yesterday while I was playing a game on HDD i noticed some weird noises, it seems like a grinding noise, no beeping, just grind like something is scratching the disk, I got panicked looked on google and found out about CrystalDisk, i used it and it showed me a caution and some error (linked image), I backed up my important stuff and turned off the pc, today I searched for fixes and some people said that I should use cmd disk repair, I used it (linked image).
im not sure what to do now, some people saying the sound it make is normal but the caution warning had me worried

now that you've saved the data, tap on the drive a couple times, pretty stiffly on the corner of the grey side. might whoop the thing back into smooth spinning

I tried but it still make that noise when its under stress, I think I was too gentle when I was tapping on it lol didnt want to make things worse

try tapping it while it's spun up

are you absolutely sure that the grinding was coming from the disk?
I would personally expect things to go south very quickly if those platters started to get torn up by a reading head.
Honestly, in your position I'd probably fire it up to see if it's still making noise + confirm it's the disk, and then replace it. Nothing good will come from continuing to use a platter drive that's actively destroying itself

im sure its the drive, it usually quite but when I run the game that I installed on it (especially on loading screen) I can hear grind noise coming from there, not loud but I can hear it if im close enough

It is probably the motor that rotates the disk that is failing then, as it still works well but noisy. Truth is, that's a ticking time bomb now, but would be a good excuse to upgrade to a modest SSD
