Title: PC randomly shuts down when using expo

Hi everyone, I need some help troubleshooting a weird issue with my PC.
Here are my specs:
- CPU: Ryzen 9 9950X
- Motherboard: ASRock X870E Taichi
- PSU: ROG Strix 1200W Platinum
- RAM: G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo 2x32 (cl32 6000)
- GPU: RTX 5080
The problem:
My PC randomly shuts down completely (like the power is cut, not a restart). if i using EXPO. The system was previously running completely fine using EXPO (6000 MHz) with no issues. This problem only started recently.
can anyone help fix it?

With that exact kit i had one burn out. Like Tom&Jerry type shit. It worked fine for about 2 hours on idle with expo active, then it shut down and never booted again with one of the sticks. Had to RMA the kit and got a new one in return. Then i sold it and went for 64GB CL30 6000MT/s from corsair. Try to undervolt the cpu as well. Also, do a memtest at JEDEC speeds, and try to expo and do another test after. If it does not crash during the tests, it might be the OS which is faulty and you may need to reinstall it. If it still crashes, i recommend doing a bios update if you didn't do that yet. If all comes to no happy ending, i recommend swapping the mobo. AsRock has been known to burn cpu's literally.

Ok il try

The only thing I can think of is that ASRock motherboards are known for damaging AM5 CPUs.

How can you tell?

It works just fine with expo disabled? Have you tried a lower speed or looser timings?

i try use 5800 and still shuts down. previously smooth at 6000
TheKitler@reddit
Have you tried 5200 or 5600?
It might be the voltage too. Try dropping that by 0.05v
Gold-Arugula940@reddit (OP)
i tried 5800 with 1.3v. still shut down.
I haven't tried 5200 or 5600.
