Advice - moving to MK, good areas

We are currently looking at potentially relocating to MK and are looking for some advice as we are not overly familiar with the area. Can anyone recommend some good potential areas?
For context we are a young couple with a newborn and have family from Hong Kong joining us. We are ideally looking for somewhere where it is easy to get to the train station and is near some green areas.

Bradwell (village) is lovely. Tons of green space and community / village vibes but 5 mins from the station.

Also has Longdan which is probably a big perk for Asian incomers

Bradwell Common is nice

No offense intended, but I haven't heard anyone with that take in.. ever. Most people I've spoken to would recommend avoiding any of the areas directly adjacent to North west and South east of CMK.

I don't live in Bradwell Common but I walk through it all the time. Just like a lot of estates close to the Centre, there are good parts and not so good parts, but overall it's a pretty safe estate. It also has a lot of cool houses from the Homeworld 81 exhibition, so it's also an interesting estate for anyone interested in local (new town) history.

Yeah, come and see the pyramid house, amongst others.

We've lived here 25 years and still like it. Yes it's a mixed area but I've never felt unsafe and it's great being half way between the station and the city centre, and next to Rooksley shopping area.

This gets covered loads!

If you can afford to avoid the red bits, then you probably want to.

There are multiple train stations in MK, so there are plenty of options, but it depends on how you are most likely to want to access the station. If walking, then as others have mentioned areas like Loughton, Bradwell, Great Holm, Bradwell Common, Heelands, are all within a reasonable walking distance. Most of the other estates in the southwest that others have mentioned would require a car or bicycle. If you don't already know there are tons of cycle and pedestrian paths called redways. This makes cycling a reasonable option, but they can be a bit intimidating at night, they are not always well lit and often have no surveillance from the road or nearby dwellings, something to think about if relying on a bicycle in winter months.
There's also a train station in Wolverton. Very walkable from Wolverton, Old Wolverton, Blue Bridge, Bradville, and Stacey Bushes. Stacey Bushes gets a bad wrap, but it's fine, if not slightly dated in appearance. I think Wolverton is great, but parking can be a challenge.
Then there's the Bletchley train station. Most areas to the west of the train station are nice and walkable to the train, though cycling may be harder in that area.
In general, the west side of the town is easier for train access. As the city grows, traffic is increasing so I think staying on the west side is the best idea.

Ashland is great

Depends on a lot really, budget being a big factor but crownhill is nice imo
It's close enough to cmk, close to westcroft which has a few shops, plenty of green areas nearby, price in crown hill varies a bit but not too crazy

I hear fishermead is lovely.

Is FTS still a thing lol?

Loughton is right by the station, Loads of lovely walks around there. Great holm, the Shenley’s. Good schools and near all amenities.

Loughton can be kind of pricey, but it is a lovely place to live, aside from the horse poo on the streets.

Definitely look at the west side of Milton keynes.
Plenty of woods and green areas. Plenty of shops and westcroft shopping area. Plenty of pubs and generally quieter

I live in Tattenhoe Park and there's lots of families from Hong Kong here. Tattenhoe Park, Tattenhoe, Kingsmead, Oxley Park, Westcroft, Emerson Valley are all lovely areas.

Monkston, Kingston, Broughton, Middleton, Oakgrove are all good.
