I don’t trust these trucks on the road at all

The 3rd party contractors be so dangerous because how do these people even get a CDL in the first place
Puzzleheaded-Hat5803@reddit
Ab durka durka.
Outside_Squirrel_839@reddit
Nope lots of bad drivers in those trucks
External_Result_8560@reddit
Don’t trust them or premier trailer leasing
CaseyJones37@reddit
Premier is a toss up, whole lot of those running Fed Ex freight.
Fucknjagoff@reddit
FedEx freight is mostly third party Serbians, Bosnians, Bulgarians and other Eastern Europeans,
Visual-Ad-6396@reddit
We use a lot of premier trailers at UPS
Leading_Strategy_627@reddit
Uber trucks too
InvestigatorBroad114@reddit
Add Super Ego to that list too lol
Budget_Dragonfruit89@reddit
Amazon 3d party contractor is here. And yeah, red volvo truck. Thank you for giving me more space on the road - im so in hurry to make my 12k monthly
God_KingGilgamesh@reddit
Theyre 3rd party contractors that pay $24 an hour. Of course the only drivers that would accept that pay are straight out of school. Then they dont get properly trained how to drive like they would at a place like Schneider
Yungwizlord@reddit
Lol i started with Schneider and I got 700$ a week running hard. so like me, I believe many people would prefer 24$ an hour, I am making 900-1100 at an amazon AFP at that rate now
God_KingGilgamesh@reddit
I promise there is better pay out there. I did local mail runs for 31.56/hr bouncing back and forth between 2 post offices 54 hours a week. Paid 1700 a week.
HatedReaper@reddit
Then at Schneider, its Trucking boot camp where most of the suckers get weeded out. Its more lenient than Walmart though.
PuertoRicoPapi@reddit
when i visited raleigh and phoenix those guys fuckin PUNCH it driving down i-10 in phx and i-40 in rdu area. up there with those BMW drivers who weave in and out of lanes
0263111771@reddit
Give me a Prime example.
Brandog74@reddit
Really how to judge without knowing. I've been driving for over twenty years and I work with company this is what I haul sure there bad drivers but there is bad every where. Werner Schneider swift don't lump the whole group cause there s few that make the rest hard working ones look bad.
RudeOrSarcasticPt2@reddit
You say Schneider and all those jokes come rolling back.
Brandog74@reddit
There's good and bad in all. I started at schitndler.lol
Deep-Stop-680@reddit
Can't stand either, let alone. I dont know how to park and love cutting me off my truck, only governed 65 and passmart 68
truckinfarmer379@reddit
I always give them plenty of space, especially if there’s a red tractor up front with several body panels/fairings missing.
jamieee1995@reddit
As a white male born and bred and America. Is that a shop I can get my CDL quick?
ignoreme010101@reddit
notsureifserious
Impressive-Menu8966@reddit
Trade schools.
Confident_Season1207@reddit
Must be where the white trash drivers get them too
ignoreme010101@reddit
I heard an interesting take about how that phrase has subtle implicit superiority implications, really got me thinking that humans have too much time to think about nonsense 😆 🤣 😂
ShoddySpace5680@reddit
That’s a little racist
forkystabbyveggie@reddit
Nope, got mine from trading my meth pipe collection
DonBoy30@reddit
I’m pretty sure they just took an expired old and dusty CDL license out of a drawer and threw it at one of the three drivers in that rig to share.
Ornery_Ads@reddit
I found mine at the bottom of a cereal box...
Dangerous-Moods@reddit
Hahahaha! Thats an accurate description
Environmental-Pear40@reddit
No one does, they don't even trust each other. Also If you see a rented trailer just keep your distance, they're just as bad. I wouldn't be surprised, at all, if they caught some of these contractors without even a class a.
Confident_Season1207@reddit
I don't trust most semis on the road. I don't even trust my own company's semi drivers. The amount of them on their phone swerving back and forth while speeding up and slowing down is fucking irritating to see. Too many of them seem braindead behind the wheel
angrydeuce@reddit
dude its getting warm here so its dump truck season and those mfs are fucking hammer down swerving all over the place trying to squeeze in one more load for the day, fucking unreal. There was just one yesterday hit a fuckin schoolbus full of kids here by me. Just insanity, running people off the road and shit.
Academic-Question-83@reddit
In my area they just opened up a new uranium mine. These guys hauling with radioactive placards are going Mach Jesus on a 65 mph road. I’ve watched a few of them almost go off the shoulder. They cracked the windshield on my car one day, they don’t tarp the load quite right sometimes.
angrydeuce@reddit
Oh yeah those fuckers never tarp here, they dont want to waste the time and think their "Not Responsible For Damage" sign on their gate actually makes it so.
Academic-Question-83@reddit
These guys don’t even have those signs! They just do not give a damn about anyone else. Driving like they have extra lives.
richardfitserwell@reddit
Dirt haulers are just hd altimas
Humble_Length5150@reddit
Best comment in the thread. Upvote awarded.
Independent_Leg7358@reddit
Dumps, bull wagons, and hoppers are usually pulled by the same drivers.... Just saying
Confident_Season1207@reddit
Hopefully they don't have a license after hitting a school bus
angrydeuce@reddit
Yeah one would think. Added 45 minutes to a 20 mile commute so that was fuckin cool
PShubbs91@reddit
I saw one of those guys full.on flipping out, screaming at his windshield on traffic swerving around. Then he drove up the shoulder. Crazy.
KatieTSO@reddit
I'm a bus driver. We have a 1 month suspension for first offense phone use and instant termination for second offense. So it's not phones that are why our drivers suck. I just don't trust them by default because I've seen the bottom 20% or so do dumb shit.
Independent_Leg7358@reddit
I prefer a good driver on a phone then a bad driver not on the phone.
KatieTSO@reddit
No like we can't even use them for calls hands free lol
Independent_Leg7358@reddit
And we're on a group text with dispatch. 😇
KatieTSO@reddit
Lmao wow. We call our dispatch with radios or by stepping off the bus with our phones.
CutTurbulent3015@reddit
Same, I can't trust MOST of my own cohaulers, they've wrecked so much shit it's no wonder why we can't have nice things at my company. Blown engines, transmissions, drive lines, driving shit till the wheels fall off, accidents, it drives me fucking insane. I have one of the best trucks and trailers in the small fleet thankfully, and I intend on keeping it that way.
DellTheEngie@reddit
I live in Chicago and every single day I see trucks doing 65 in the 2nd to left lane (out of 4-5) while cars fly around them on both sides, ignoring the "no trucks 2 left lanes signs". It's enraging.
Significant_Ad5335@reddit
I find this comment funny because just as the truck drivers are ignoring the signs. So are the regular cars posted speed limit in most of chicago area is 55- 60mph
DellTheEngie@reddit
You have to match traffic flow or stay in the far right lane on the interstate regardless of the speed limit.
AbroadLost6831@reddit
Our trucks are governed at 65. Most are for insurance reasons. For the 2 left lanes thing though i haven't ran into that issue just yet.
Jonas_Venture_Sr@reddit
Yea, but could you imagine paying a dollar more for that 11" Doc Johnson dildo?
DanEpiCa@reddit
Or God forbid waiting a day longer for your order to arrive.
Gweedo1967@reddit
Or God forbid people go to a brick and mortar and get it themselves.
Unusual-Associate174@reddit
Bruh I ain't buying the 11 inch premium doc Johnson in person lmao
NightAesthetic@reddit
Why do they go faster than the governed Amazon vans😭
ButterOnToads@reddit (OP)
Because those trucks aren’t governed
Sterling_____Archer@reddit
Amazon contractors are easily the most dangerous trucks on the highways.
Stay far far away.
LikwidHappiness@reddit
I raise you super ego. I had one pass me on i80 in PA a couple weeks ago going 97 mph!!! That's what the follow distance radar said at least. Absolutely blew my fucking doors off and I was doing like 71 or 72.
This was also down a hill right before a curve in the fucking rain. I thought for sure I was about to watch this dude wreck taking this curve but amazingly he did not. He did however get off at the very next exit and blew right through a stop sign. Unbelievable
bigblackglock17@reddit
I feel like this would be a story Smokey and the bandit could tell. (Never watched it)
geojetsetter@reddit
I watched a fuel hauler pull the same shit in WV. Like my guy I dont want to roll in the crater youre going to make if you blow up the side of a mountain. In that instance im 100 percent fine with the state shredding your cdl on the side of the road.
TurbulentMoney1773@reddit
Amazon and container drivers i do not trust. Those are the easiest loads to get and they always suck at driving
CutTurbulent3015@reddit
First time I saw one on I-94/I-80 years ago teetering on one set of duals coming around an on ramp, that was enough for my eyes.
Few-Solution-4784@reddit
i got stuck behind one with safety strobe blinding me for 1/2 hour.
Visual-Ad-6396@reddit
You shouldn’t lol
joe25rs@reddit
I watched one of these trucks actively road raging with a work van on 95 just the other day. The trailer driver nearly swiped the guy off the road. Then the work van went around and swerved at the cab. All this at 6:30 am at 70 mph. I gave them a lot of room.
icy_penguins@reddit
Guess you cant state facts on reddit cause why would they let you do that.
Theyre the worst drivers on i35 in iowa and theyre all from Minnesota, use ypur imagination to fill in the rest.
icy_penguins@reddit
On the I-35 corridor(iowa-minnesota) its mostly Somalian drivers from the twin cities that pull big blue and yeah, they drive like absolute shit and im not sure some of them even have a CDL. They all have their "own" authority but they all run for the same "dispatch" company. Just more of the Minnesota bullshit we have to deal with out here on the road.
Significant_Ad5335@reddit
A prime example of how you know the DOT English language professiency And ice intradictions are all theatrics and a way to cause further division.
NostradamusJones@reddit
Seen too many of those on their side. SuperEgo also seems to be a common offender.
Fuzzy1598@reddit
I don't know why but to me it seems superego has calmed down a bit.
Dangerous-Moods@reddit
I don’t either. They always seem to be in a hurry and not very observant of their surroundings
ajf31185@reddit
They are governed at 65(at least the AFP's are), so they cant be in too much of a hurry. 😂
ajf31185@reddit
The governed at 65. 😂
ButterOnToads@reddit (OP)
Like I know for a fact dispatch is not that strict for you to be rushing around like that
ignoreme010101@reddit
lol wait do you also haul these?
Dangerous-Moods@reddit
Yea true. I’ve had pushy dispatch before. I just go the speed limit. When I was newer I let them push me, but then realized that they don’t care about me or my driving record, nor do they appreciate my effort to meet their schedules.
DriveAppropriate2858@reddit
I drive a ranker hauling fuel and I had an Amazon driver brake check me with no traffic in sight. I don't trust them too.
Gandlerian@reddit
It's kind of crazy how much they regulate local Amazon delivery vans for DPS drivers and contractors. But, the actual CDL trucks can basically do whatever they want.
Fair-Advantage9539@reddit
lol i swear i was on I-10 east bound maybe it was i-75 south this Amazon Prime truck was driving as slow as pond water one night. I pass him I look over and its this guy he has a phone mounted up on the pillar it looks like he was streaming, Had a laptop wide open not sure if it was mounted, i think I might have seen a tablet in there and was also on his phone looking down. His cab was lit up from LED's. I should have blown my air horn at him but I kept it moving.
DelawhereRider@reddit
From a cereal box, but one of those high sugar ones, not like the Wheaties I got mine from.
IamRNG@reddit
it's fedex drivers for me
MotorBobcat@reddit
While I was driving my car last week one of these guys cut me off without even using his blinker. He put his wheels on the line twice then just came over. I thought he was just weaving. He needed to turn left up ahead. If he had just put his blinker on I would have let him in.
ramses3rd@reddit
I drive for an "Amazon Freight Partner" and let me tell you, I dont trust anyone that hauls Amazon trailers. In my company alone, probably 2/3rds of our drivers shouldn't have licenses. No one does pre-trips. I have to refuse nearly half of all trailers im suppose to pull because they are so badly damaged. My company has asked me and other drivers numerous times to forge our log books or operate out of service equipment. All of our support staff is located in Pakistan so they dont care about US law because they know they aren't going to face any repercussions for their actions. The whole system is fucked. I would leave but Im set up pretty well due to somewhat blackmailing my company with a lot of damping evidence. Don't trust these trailers and certainly dont trust the drivers.
Slapnuts213@reddit
I don’t trust anyone on the road including myself. One second of relaxation while behind the wheel can result in disaster.
Hamhockthegizzard@reddit
Starting not to trust anyone on the road. People are stupid in their compact cars with their phones and professionalism is out the window in most sectors of work so feels like a great percentage of us just don’t give a shit.
Tomokomon@reddit
As a swift driver I'm just glad people are finally starting to look away from us lol
BDS_707@reddit
Anytime I see a swift truck pulling an Amazon trailer, I immediately get away from it
ohhrangejuice@reddit
Ive actually taken the wrong exit before just to create some distance
Kalamanchum@reddit
Same here in the UK, they move unpredictably 🤣
edsavage404@reddit
I dont trust any truck
yeah-no-yeah-no@reddit
The ones with Red Trackers… those I call Kamikaze Express.
ShoddySpace5680@reddit
Lmao
