Hey OP, any news? Did you get your interview? Was wondering the same thing, I have my interview in a couple days time too.
Sirsacs1@reddit (OP)
Dm me ill tell you!

The goal to getting hired is to do "jazz hands" the entire time during the interview. If you can finish with a jazz flute solo, even better.

If you get an interview, know Jazz's history. All the prior airlines that merged to become Jazz. When AC owned them, when they sold them. Know what Chorus is, know who the CEO is of Chorus and the President of Jazz. Know the bases, and fleet. They will ask all of the above.
Then just do your best and try to have a few scenarios from your hopefully 703 time so you have something to talk about. A lot of "tell me a time when" stuff in the interview. When they ask you tell me a time you made a mistake, don't be like "I left the chicken strips in the fryer too long"... give them a real answer. What you did, what you learned from it, etc.
Good luck. Jazz is a good place to work overall, just make sure you temper your expectations on the whole flow thing to AC. But if you go in with your eyes open you'll learn a lot and be at a pretty decent company with good scheduling rules.

Thanks for the feedback!! Yes I think its a great intro to my airline career. Youre working in the USA I assume?🤣
canuck791@reddit
No, Canada.

What’s your experience like? Out of curiosity
Sirsacs1@reddit (OP)
ATPL 1500+ hours 703 capt hours

You got a call back for FO or captain?
Sirsacs1@reddit (OP)
Fo
Content_Weekend_4374@reddit
Would not personally go to jazz with that experience especially as an FO, but to each their own I guess. Way better 705’s you can go to with your experience
Sirsacs1@reddit (OP)
Only 705 Where I’ve had a feedback..
canuck791@reddit
Don't let people scare you from going to Jazz. It's a good airline. With an ATPL and 1500 hours you'll be in a left seat in less than a year IF YOU WANT IT... after which 2ish years of that you'll be off to a major if you want. AC won't hire you off the street with 1500 or even 2000 hours so there's really no point in thinking what ifs.

Sweet. My friend used to work in recruiting there. I’ll give him a call and then DM you

Wow thanks!
