As a Dane, I don’t mind a roughly 10-year age gap. I’ve noticed that Americans online are very vocal about it, even much smaller ones. So, my lovely Americans, what’s your take on age gaps between adults?

I felt kinda sad about the responses this guy got, since I have an autistic brother in his mid-20s and he’s clearly not at the same developmental stage as people his age. To give some context, a South American autistic man with level 2 support needs was humiliated on r/relationship_advice after asking for advice about his also autistic girlfriend. He said in the comments that his anxiety is "skyrocketing" and that he feels physically unwell after the responses he got. His post: [How can I (30M) rebuild trust after pressuring my girlfriend (19F) to play a game she didn’t want to? : r/relationship\_advice](https://www.reddit.com/r/relationship_advice/comments/1sgttcs/how_can_i_30m_rebuild_trust_after_pressuring_my/)
