Is Giraffe Academy a good resource for beginners?

Looking into learning programming, people say you should learn the basics and move on to projects.
There's this guy on YouTube, channel Giraffe academy, with introduction courses to several languages, Python, C, Java, etc, his courses are all around 4 hours long, and people seem to praise as a good resource for beginners.
ehat I wanna ask is, would one of his courses (in my case, I wanna learn to make games in C) be enough to start projects?

just take cs50, harvard's intro course to programming, until the Python segment. If you want to code a game in C, then you need a firm grasp in the language through practice.
