In the last 2 weeks, the I-64 at I-255 and the I-57 at I-24 Overhead signs were both hit in Southern Illinois.

I may be wrong but the one up in STL was hit by a car. And just guessing since there is a lot of construction at the 57/24 intersection a dump truck may have caused it.

The one that was hit last night was a dump truck. There was a post in the St. Louis sub about it.

Now I have never driven a dump truck at speed, but it seems like to me. The truck's handling would go to shit with the bed lifted. How could somebody not feel that, even if they aren't checking their mirrors?

I wondered the same thing a while ago when 1 dump clobbered 2 overhead signs in Columbus on I-70. Like, it has to have some extra wobble, right? Enough to make you wonder even just a little?

I go through there on 64 twice a week. Dodged a bullet.
