Gluten free places?

Hello! I asked a few months back of cool things to do for a birthday, and I got so many awesome suggestions!! I presented the ideas to my friends, and they took em and made some sort of special surprise for me. (We were gonna do Foodieland too but alas money XD)
But my best friend just got diagnosed right gluten intolerance, and I can’t remember if I asked about any places that did gluten allergies or not so I wanted to make a separate post just in case. Gluten free things and places are really hard to find and we were sorta hoping to eat somewhere other than chick-fil-a with her lol. (Love chick-fil-a but it’s really the only place she can eat unless she gets a salad bc even some fries have gluten??) so if you have any gluten free or celiac friendly places I’d live to hear about em!

Which area?

You know that’s actually a good question. Since I don’t really know what we’re doing it’s hard to say. I’ve been guessing that we’re going to the world life aquarium though

I don’t know the exact area well but there is a place called IYKYK Churros that I’ve heard great things about. Joy Macarons may have a location down that way too. For food….Yardbird, Terry Black BBQ, Flower Child, HG Supply Co, Company Cafe, McRae’s, Hat Creek…..those are off the top of my head. They aren’t all 100% gluten free facilities but they should have safe items from what I know.

Jus beware I don’t think there is any seating there. You just take it to go.

Hawaiian Bros and Mo Bettahs both have some decent GF options. From Across The Pond is in Colleyville, and they’ve got a lot of options. Like someone else commented above, the app “Find Me Gluten Free” is really useful.

Okay! I think we have a Hawaiian bros here in Tyler but we haven’t gone for some reason lol. The others sound super fun!

On Rotation near Love Field has excellent gluten free fried chicken if you'd like a non-Chick-fil-A option :P

Gluten free fried chicken??? Okay yes thank you!!!!

On Rotation has turned into one of our regular dinner spots and no one in our household adheres to a GF lifestyle. It is so good and the prices are great and it’s very kid friendly.

Motor city pizza in Lewisville has the absolute best pizza I've eaten since my diagnosis. It's detroit style and absolutely massive.
For sweet treats, Trouvi cookies in Richardson is amazing and the owner is so kind.
Also check out findmeglutenfree.com for a ton of other options.
