All Things GenX: Why is GenX So Sarcastic - And Why We Don't Want to be in Charge

This is a very good analysis of our generation.
I think it also explains why we have trouble relating to our younger generations that seem to have crisis all the time and are not able to easily discern deeper meanings because they take everything at face value.

Pertinence to GenX - Posts may be removed if they are not pertinent to Generation X in a specific way.
This includes non-specific ramblings, any sort of conspiracy theories that have nothing to do with GenX, or posts about people who happen to be GenX….and that’s it.
AI videos or articles MUST have the proper flair identifying the content as AI.
Just because an article or video mentions Generation X does not automatically make it pertinent. Moderators will make this determination at their discretion.

There is a difference between "nice" and "good"

I have a hard enough time managing and motivating myself. Last thing I wanna do is have it be in my job description too manage and motivate others.

Looking at that screenshot I don't even relate and if GenX even exists we should be vaaary weary of this generational bullshit, which is mostly just veiled marketing.

They don't want me in manangement, I don't sugar coat things.
Few respect honesty these days.

I agree. I also think with us in management, the workforce would undergo some drastic changes.

My job title is now two levels lower than it was in my 30’s, and my managers have been younger than me for some time now. I’m actively not looking to advance, head down, stay the course until I retire.
