Is this Dentist estimate fair?

Hi all just after some clarification on these prices, if it matters im 27 havent been to a dentist since 18 and live in the northeast. asumed my teeth were in decent condition, thought I now have the resources to get a checkup but these prices seems astronomically more than I was expecting, also for context that was all they recommended, i had xrays and quite an indepth consultation (£170 worth). 11 fillings overall and 2 have a future risk of a "root issue" any advise?

First of all, how did you think your teeth were in decent condition when you need 11 fillings?! That’s mad
Secondly, that seems about right per filling.
You could always get the non-white fillings for cheaper, or head to an EU where it is cheaper private, such as Poland or the Baltics

obviously was quite ignorant... they feel and look fine to me

Thought your teeth were fine but ended up with 11 fillings? You must have known something was up. Or they are lying to you. I didn't go from the age of 17 to 32 and when I finally did I only needed two fillings and I guessed as much from how food felt when I ate. Think I paid like £70 on the NHS to get them filled in with the silver filling which is much cheaper than the white.
