My baby is nearly 15 weeks and im pretty sure he is Satan as theres no other explanation. Ive tried the basic stuff I can find online so im not looking for advice or tips just recommendations please. Particularly if you had success with a reflux baby that is also a pain when it comes to feeding.

My second child was also ‘satan’ for that first period! He had issues with milk, colic blah blah. He screamed every day from about 2pm through to 4-5am the next day. I sent my husband on a ridiculous journey after work one day, to go get an Amby Natures Nest bed. He slept through every single night from then on! Took me several days of waking continuously & worrying if he was still breathing though! When we had our 3rd, I’d already got one in & ready from day one!

Sleep consultants are largely a scam.
A quick checklist that might help you hit gold are: 1. Does baby have a tongue tie or potential tongue tie? 2. Does baby have CMPA? 3. Does baby have a soy allergy? 4. Does baby have gas that would be relieved by a windii? (They’re pure magic) 5. Does baby have hair tangled, trapped, caught or pulled anywhere? 6. Does baby scratch themselves with their nails (including toenails)? 7. Does baby hate socks or mittens or another item of clothing?

Tongue tie has been released CMPA ruled out, he was worse on the special milk Not looked at soy, is the soy in formula? He manages to release the gas, it doesnt cause him pain but he does startle himself because his farts are like nuclear explosions Always check for hairs No he doesnt scratch He has never warn mittens and seems to have no issue with socks

The best advice I received 20 years ago was:
This too shall pass
Its awful when you are in the middle of it but then you hit nice patch (for me 5-8) then that too passes.

This might sound old fashioned, but a clock that actually makes a ticking sound used to soothe my kids, because the regular noise is like a heartbeat to them and subconsciously soothes then. Not sure if they still make them but we used to have a travel clock that was in a little case, that lived in the kids cots when they were babies.

Hey!
Just a wee heads up…if you’re wee one is on gaviscon for their reflux, this is based on weight. There’s every chance that they might’ve ’outgrown’ their dose. I’d strongly recommend making contact with the GP/health visitor if they’re still fighting sleep as this could be a sign that the reflux is still an issue.

Hey friend! Just a lil reminder that parenting is tough, you’ve got this and it won’t be like this forever! At the moment most of your babies actions are controlled by the brain stem so they don’t even know they’re crying / not sleeping it’s just a reflex. They don’t have the brain capacity to be satanic, yet. If bub has reflux it could be that they’re in pain and gripe water could help! Hope you’re okay and remember to reach out for help if you’re struggling mentally / feeling very overwhelmed.

15 weeks is basically a newborn still so I'd be surprised if sleep was anything but awful.
Sleep consultants are largely grifters. Speak to your health visitor or GP for advice, and check the Lullaby Trust and NHS websites. To be honest, though, babies all have different temperaments and there's only so much you can control.
Baby will figure it out eventually - that's probably not what you want to hear, but it is honestly developmentally normal. It's developmentally normal until 1 for a lot of babies, and even later for some.... so buckle in. Sleep in shifts and lean on your support network as much as you can.
