Want to hear early-in-their-career performances from alternative and experimental artists like R.E.M., The Cure, The Pixies, The Replacements, Depeche Mode, Stereolab, Sonic Youth and Björk? You're in luck.

I hope one of those 10,000 concerts is 10,000 Maniacs.

This is amazing stuff.

Cool...didn't expect to find Servotron, Slint, Tortoise, Gas Huffer, Sam Lreko, and more in there.

There was a guy in Houston in 80’s and 90’s at a lot of shows videotaping the concerts. He had a list of available tapes. From what I understand he had the band’s permission.

This is great. Years ago I found a site that had concert recordings for grateful dead, Elvis, Johnny Cash, and tons of other artists. I got to appreciate music from artists I never would have otherwise listened to (Elvis concerts rocked... would have been amazing to see)

Really cool. I’m shocked that artists are letting them do this but then again it’s artists from the 80s and 90s so they might have a different attitude then current artists

Some gems in there but too bad this isn't indexed or sorted to make it easier to look through versus scrolling through 50 pages
eastcoastflava13@reddit
There's a letter by letter index. And it's searchable.
aluke000@reddit
Ah, I see it shows up if you change the sorting mode from the default. Thx

My neighbor is part of a group of fans attempting to accumulate copies of all the bootleg Grateful Dead footage through the years... A Herculean task, but some of the audio he shared with me was in good shape.

Not best recordings but great list to look through reminds me of highschool and college going to concerts.
